About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Product Technologist who would relish the opportunity to develop their career by working on a wide range of quality products, offer invaluable support to the resolute team and in return enjoy rewarding career prospects.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for the approval & overall quality of seasonal product ranges in line with critical path targets. By owning the technical approval of our hardlines product range, you will set quality standards and ensure that our products are fit for purpose.
Working closely with suppliers and other third parties you will generate workbooks, approve the initial product with full detailed comments for suppliers to acknowledge before submitting pre-production samples as well as documentation of updates within the supplier manual and product compliance files.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Monitor customer and store returns; collate, analyse data and issue reports
- Approve supplier submissions for barcodes, care labels and packaging
- Accurately file documentation and add relevant approvals to critical path tracker
- QC stock when required against gold seal standard
- Issue product performance testing samples when required, record and act upon findings
- Control and issue pre-production samples during the product life cycle
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you will being hard lines product knowledge coupled with ability to support apparel process if required in a relevant field of product technology as well as proven experience of working within a busy technical department.
Experience of audit and testing procedures will be essential along with knowhow of SharePoint and/or a PDM based system
