Casual Chefs

About the role

Liverpool Football Club are looking for Chefs to work in our state-of-the-art kitchens, alongside our highly experienced brigade, who are preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of high-quality menus for over approximately eight thousand covers on match days.

We are currently seeking individuals with a passion for cooking to join our team of chefs on a casual basis. We have multiple roles available for people with all levels of chef experience.

Up to 40 hours per week available (this is a casual position, offering variable hours including evenings and weekends on a flexible assignment basis and is therefore not guaranteed).

 

What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring that all food items are prepared for service as per the specification and at the correct time.
  • Maintaining the standards set by the Executive Head Chef for food preparation and presentation.
  • Continuously adhere to food hygiene regulations and cleaning schedules.
  • Undergo training/retraining as required.
  • Ensuring that all foods are stored correctly in the dry stores and fridges as per hygiene regulations.
  • Ensuring that stock is rotated correctly.

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for applicants who have previous experience within a similar role, possess a basic Food Hygiene Qualification, and have knowledge of COSHH, health, safety, and food hygiene policies. Previous similar work within a large scale catering environment is beneficial, however is not essential.
