About the role
We are looking for Kitchen Porters to join the team at Liverpool FC.
You will support the kitchen team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness across kitchen, wash-up and back-of-house areas. You will assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, crockery, utensils and work areas, ensuring all activity is carried out safely and in line with Health, Safety, Hygiene, COSHH and company standards.
What will you be doing?
- Support the Head Kitchen Porter and wider kitchen team in keeping kitchen, wash-up and back-of-house areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Clear dirty crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment promptly and ensure clean items are stored neatly in the correct locations.
- Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely and in line with agreed procedures and training.
- Assist with daily and event-day cleaning schedules, ensuring tasks are completed to the required standard.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and follow food safety, Health and Safety and COSHH requirements at all times.
- Clean up spillages and breakages immediately and report hazards to the Head Kitchen Porter or manager on duty.
- Ensure kitchen equipment, floors, surfaces and bins are cleaned and maintained as directed.
- Report equipment faults, maintenance issues or damaged items to the Head Kitchen Porter or Head of Department.
- Work flexibly across kitchens and service areas during matchdays, events and day-to-day operations.

Essential Skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors and managers
- Flexible in hours of work and able to work evenings, weekends, matchdays and events
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy and fast-paced kitchen environment
- Positive attitude, reliability and good timekeeping
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen, wash-up or cleaning role
- Basic Food Hygiene qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Awareness of Health and Safety, food hygiene and COSHH requirements
- Experience working in events, hospitality or catering environments.
