About the role

We are looking for a Video Editor with a proven experience using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects to join our team based in Liverpool. In this varied role, you will be responsible for a combination of fast paced news content, documentaries, match highlights, commercial videos, partner activations, social content and much more predominantly for LFC TV & LFCTVGO.

What will you be doing?
 

  • Work across iMac & PC edit suites and utilising the Adobe Creative suite of software, you will use the full suite of products from Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition etc to complete your production
  • Work and integrate different programs within the Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging content.
  • Edit TV content throughout the week, including long format shows, VTs, SVOs and matchday edits.
  • Repackage certain edits to be used across our wider digital and social outputs.
  • Work closely across the department with different teams to make sure content is effectively created and available for editing
  • Understand and utilise the internal MAM system to access the pool of archive footage available to use within daily edits.

Who we are looking for
To be successful you will have significant experience in the Adobe Suite including Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects, Photoshop and Audition as well as knowledge of modern production techniques.  You will have a good knowledge of MacOS and Windows 10 and experience of multi-cam editing and MAM & server-based workflows. You will have awareness of standard video formats and principles as well as media conversion experience, selecting the appropriate output for the correct situation. You will have an awareness of the legal requirements for broadcast legal video and audio signal levels.

You will hold a qualification in broadcast or media related technologies and have a good knowledge of football, preferably a deep knowledge of Liverpool FC. With the ability to adapt to fast changing production environments, you work well under pressure within a live broadcast and transmission environment and have strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. You can work well within a team and have the confidence to work unsupervised with instruction. You are able to work unsociable hours and flexible working patterns.

This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week based around the football fixture list, and, as such will work 5 days in 7 with varying days & hours throughout the working week. The role will be hybrid working with requirements to work in the office and at home but may also include working at the training complex or occasional away trip travel.
