Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Video Design Manager, Partnerships Creative, based in our London office. In this role you will work closely with our Central Team and our Partnerships team to provide innovative and compelling sales materials to drive partnerships.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading in the creation of video and motion graphics content from conception through to execution, for use across all stages of the partnership development process.
  • Liaise with the wider team in the preparation of and delivery of video briefs for high profile presentations; provide creative input on final deliverables.
  • Understanding and staying on top of the latest trends in design and partnerships.
  • Demonstrate how we can align our club objectives with prospect objectives.
  • Digest briefs, identifying key elements, including potential issues, and execute clear, compelling visual design concepts.
  • Working alongside the Central Team to demonstrate the value and effectiveness of Liverpool FC partnerships, generating new leads and ultimately further partnerships for the Club.
  • Work closely with the senior members of the team to ensure alignment across the wider video and brand marketing team.
  • Creation of B2B videos for current partners.
  • Occasional work on filming sets.
  • Contribute to the delivery of "core" design output. For example, you may be asked to work on sales decks and other day-to-day design work.
  • Managing a small team.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Video Designer who has experience working in fast-paced environments and a proven commercial design track record, ideally, within sports. It is important you have previously worked in a role which is responsible for the narrative, inception and execution of video briefs. We are keen to talk to Video Designers who have strong commercial awareness and experience of developing creative content for business clients. You will have an interest and strong understanding of design fundamentals, excellent communication skills and most importantly can apply a “can-do-attitude” to everything you do.

You will be a team player with good team management skills. You’ll have advanced knowledge of the Adobe CC Suite (or other video editing software), and Microsoft office 365 programs. You will share our Club values of ambition, commitment, dignity and unity. Experience in Camera Ops is desired, but not essential.

Please Note: This role is primarily B2B and is not public facing therefore will include confidential work that will not be applicable to showcase in personal portfolios and showreels.

Why should you apply?

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week on a hybrid basis. Your main base will be our London office. Liverpool FC is an icon of global sport, a brand with an exceptional heritage. Hundreds of millions of people across the globe are devoted to the Club, but there is more to Liverpool FC than the scale of its fanbase. Over 100 years of success and heartache has forged a truly unique identity. Working for Liverpool FC makes you more than just an employee, you are an integral part of the world`s greatest football family.

To reward your hard work and commitment we offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays and the option to purchase up to an additional 5 days) and a contributory pension scheme.

You will have access to our benefits kit bag where you can get high street discounts, and a selection of benefit schemes you can join. There are opportunities to get involved with volunteering through our LFC Foundation to give back to the local community.

At Liverpool Football Club, we have an unwavering commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and are always looking to making a positive difference in the communities that we operate within. We are proud of our achievements in this area; maintaining the Premier League Equality Standard Advanced Level, becoming a founding signatory of the Football Association’s Football Leadership Diversity Code and being recognised as a leader in this important area on and off the pitch. We take our responsibilities in this area seriously and through the work being done across the club, we are committed to increasing the diversity of our people and becoming an increasingly inclusive workplace for all. We are committed to hiring great people representative of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and skills across our entire business.
