Here at Liverpool Football Club, we have an opportunity for a Plumber Supervisor to join our team at Anfield Stadium. This is a full-time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week.

As a Plumber Supervisor, you will have extensive experience in managing and leading a Maintenance team in carrying out all planned and reactive maintenance works for the Club, including services and repairs, fault finding, and general maintenance to all plumbing and drainage systems to current regulations.

Role Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating
  • Water Hygiene Legionella Prevention Experience
  • Level 2 Spa Management Course
  • Fire suppression sprinkler system knowledge
  • Comprehensive knowledge of specialised Plumbing, Heating, Pool Management, Unvented hot water (domestic), Fire Sprinkler and Legionella prevention methods, techniques, and processes
  • Supervisor and managerial experience
  • First aid qualifications
  • The ability to communicate with a wide group of stakeholders.

DESIRABLE: IPAF Mobile Platform Operation License, a PASMA Mobile Scaffold Erection License, a Gold CSCS Trade Card, water regulation qualifications and knowledge, gas qualifications, and a full clean UK driving license. However, these are NOT essential.

Role Responsibilities (are not limited to)

  • Managing and leading a Maintenance team, including effective coordination of all out-sourced maintenance activities
  • Maximize the potential of the CAFM system to log and track all reactive and pre planned maintenance tasks
  • Project management for stadium small works e.g., attending meetings with various contractors/ project managers to ensure works are completed on time and do not affect day to day business
  • Coordinate all essential staff training for equipment use and inspections and be responsible for improvement and development of maintenance services through the continuous review of existing processes
  • Undertake general maintenance, fault finding, and repair works
  • First response to all system and plant breakdowns, carries out fault diagnosis and rectification testing chemical dosage and weekly flushing program Legionella (L8)
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize workload depending on relevant fixtures and events week by week  
  • Manage and oversee external contractors ensuring their works are satisfactorily completed with minimum disruption to the business.
