About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Store Manager to join our Flagship Dublin Ilac store. You will have accountability for the store in a unique way to many Store Manager positions, including full ownership of a P&L, giving you the autonomy to run and manage this store fully. As well as leading and motivating a passionate team to deliver consistent high standards of performance.

Dublin is our newest concept store, recently relocated into this premium space based within the ILAC shopping centre on the iconic Henry Street. Over 2,000 square feet in the heart of Dublin offering a true LFC fan experience.

Our retail store profile currently has seven permanent stores in the UK and Ireland and a further 207 locations across the globe.  We also have product available in over 8,000 retail locations globally so you’ll be a part of something big. 

LFC have one of the most comprehensive product ranges in world football including LFC Nike player kit, training and lifestyle ranges. As well as hundreds of LFC own brand apparel, footwear and lifestyle products.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading the store, making smart commercial decisions to drive sales and generate revenue. Working in conjunction with the Territory Manager and Director of Retail Stores to determine the strategic direction of the store and leading the implementation of these initiatives.
  • Ensuring that you drive excellent performance and achievement of the EBITDA, through commercial decision making. Managing and tracking costs against budgets, driving high standards so that the store is consistently performing in all areas, including Customer Service and Compliance.
  • Managing labour costs and planning, including temporary and seasonal staff members.
  • Customer service observations and floor walks to, directing the team to implement any actions including store visual presentation
  • Overseeing and accountable for shopfloor moves and any promotional activities and product launches, for example Kit launch and Christmas.
  • Coaching and developing your team.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working at management level within a fast-paced retail environment. It is vital you are a strong leader with excellent organisational skills and able to manage, motivate and drive a large team day to day.

You’ll have excellent product knowledge and the awareness of what makes an excellent shopping experience for our customers and how to deliver this. You will have strong numerical/analytical skills and the ability to interpret figures to make smart commercial decisions, whilst controlling budgets and labour costs. The right candidate will be able to build effective, strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders whilst understanding the importance of working with other departments such as our distribution centre and merchandising team to run a smooth operation.

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, on a 5 from 7-day basis. Your main base will be within the Dublin ILAC store with potential to support other Ireland and Northern Ireland stores.
