About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Operational Staffing Team at LFC, supporting in planning, deploying and managing the people requirements for match days and events. 

You’ll work alongside our operational colleagues to identify staffing requirements, create staff rotas based on event needs, stakeholder requirements, and availability  Engaging with our casual workforce to keep them informed and offer shifts through our workforce management system, maintaining the continuous supply and deployment of people. 

We’re seeking someone with experience in People Operations, personable and engaging with a passion for hospitality, events and sports.  You’ll have outstanding organisational skills enabling you to seamlessly work across multiple events and projects, with a strong attention to detail.  

What will you be doing?

  • Partner with operational colleagues to fully understand the department and the roles needed to successfully deliver match days and events. 
  • Facilitate the match day check-in operation, including identity checks, issuing accreditation, uniform distribution and ensuring match day staff are directed to the correct location of work. 
  • Engage and communicate with our casual workforce to ensure they have clear information and support before, during and after their shifts.  
  • Ensure all areas are staffed to agreed levels, working with agencies where needed to support resource requirements. 
  • Administer all bookings, cancellations, and changes, ensuring that all systems are updated with activity and relevant information, liaising with all stakeholders in a timely and effective manner. 
  • Support in the delivery of rotas and timesheets to ensure accurate information is provided for payroll purposes. 
  • Assist in arranging relevant training (online and in person), providing information and joining instructions and recording attendance. 
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, stadium policies and event protocols. 

Who are we looking for?

We support all home fixtures and major events taking place at Anfield Stadium so candidates must be willing to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.  The role is based at Anfield Stadium, however we may be required to work at other sites from time to time, therefore own transport is required to enable travel to other business locations and outside of typical office hours when public transport may be limited.  

We’re looking for candidates with excellent attention to detail, solutions focused with the ability to think creatively and problem solve with confidence.  You’ll be a strong administrator, methodical, analytical and comfortable reviewing and processing large volumes of data, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

A strong communicator, confident working with a diverse workforce in a busy, fast paced environment and keen to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.  

Previous experience in a similar staffing/people operations role would be advantageous, but if you’re hard working, customer focused, with experience of working in a busy administration or customer service environment, training will be provided.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours across the week (5 from 7). Your main base will be Anfield Stadium.
