We are looking for a proactive individual with experience in large scale catering to join our Kitchen team at Liverpool Football Club.
In this role you will ensure the Kitchen supplies the highest possible level of customer care and service to both our guest and fellow associates, and ensure the departmental operating standards are maintained at all times. As an assistant department head, the successful candidate will utilise strong leadership skills and assist with the supervision of the day-to-day kitchen and staff.
What will you be doing?
Working with the Food and Beverage management team and associates to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction Assisting with menu planning and composition.
Assisting with the financial management of the kitchen eg manage operating budgets, forecasting and scheduling.
Maintain the standards set by the Head Chef for food preparation and presentation
Ensuring all mis-en-place is carried out prior to service.
Adhering to food hygiene regulations and cleaning schedules.
Checking daily deliveries and record as directed by company policy.
Ensuring that all foods are stored correctly in the dry stores and fridges as per hygiene regulations.
Assisting with covering the duties of all other personnel when necessary e.g. holidays, illness or staff shortages.
Ensuring that stock is rotated correctly.
Be fully aware of the Accident reporting procedure, Maintenance fault reporting procedure, Fire policy for your department
Assisting with the ordering of food, purchasing and maintenance of kitchen equipment when required.
Ensuring that all food items are prepared for service as per the specification and at the correct time.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful, you will have relevant experience in a similar role and hold an intermediate food hygiene certificate. You will have a solid understanding of food hygiene and food safety management systems. With great attention to detail and problem-solving skills, you will have the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure as well as set and manage priorities. You will have strong computer literacy and a dedication to delivering a world class experience.

This is a full time permanent role working 35 hours per week on a 5 Over 7 days basis including some evenings and weekends around match days. Your main base will be Anfield Stadium, although at times traveling between our sites may be required.
