About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as a She Inspires Coordinator.
The LFC Foundation sports provision is ever growing. For this role, you will be expected to deliver sports sessions and workshops from the She Inspires curriculum, across the Liverpool City Region, in primary and secondary schools, as well as community settings.
She Inspires is a programme which uses football and other sports, as well as workshops, to support and empower girls in primary and secondary schools, breaking barriers to increase girls playing football/sport in school and community and also help retention in school lessons.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the She Inspires Schools Provision, working with secondary school age girls and primary school age boys and girls.
What will you be doing?
- Deliver projects in line with the project plan ensuring all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are met.
- Ensure Health & Safety and safeguarding standards are adhered to.
- Ensure Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is considered in all decision making.
- Work closely with primary and secondary schools and partner organisations.
- Support the development of all levels of pathways and opportunities for young people in various sports.
- To share all LFC Foundation provisions suitable to target participants.
- Deliver and support competitive and non-competitive opportunities and events across LFC Foundation.
- Ensure effective collection and recording of all funder requested data.
- Provide reports and analysis of all sports provisions to strict deadlines.
- Support the creation of a marketing plan to successfully support sports provisions.
- Ensure case studies, PR opportunities and social media content are regularly implemented in line with Club, and Foundation guidelines
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programmes.
- To support all LFC Foundation activity where needed.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual with a strong background in sports coaching and youth engagement. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in planning, preparing, and delivering sports sessions and workshops to young people, alongside holding a minimum of one Level 2 Sports Coaching Qualification. Essential experience includes basic project coordination, organising tournaments and events, and developing CPD programmes for coaching and teaching partners. A solid understanding of the sport sector, particularly within the Liverpool City Region, and familiarity with Local and National Governing Bodies is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to design sport-based curriculums and workshops aligned with programme objectives are also key.
Desirable experience includes line management, chairing meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and holding relevant qualifications such as a sports-related degree, Level 1 FA Coaching Football, and FA Coaching Disabled Footballers.
