We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as an Service Desk Analyst

 

The role will provide first and second line support for all Club employees, football and club events and for any technology-based applications, including hardware, software and network issues, whilst also responding to helpdesk tickets which are raised within the system or via phone. 

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

The key responsibilities of the role are to..

 

  1. Provide on-site technical support and related services on a match day at the stadium as well as on-site support for other football and non-football related activities/events as and when required.
  2. To provide first and second line, on-site and remote, technical support for all club employees and club activities – football and non-football as and when required
  3. Complete administration activities such as maintaining asset register, completing purchase logs, updating tickets with notes and actions, keeping work areas clean and tidy and any other administrative tasks pertaining to the upkeep and operation of the IT Service desk. 
  4. Actively triage tickets and perform diagnostics as part of 1st and 2nd line problem management and investigation. 
  5. Provide support and maintenance (including repairs where possible) on multiple platforms and equipment types including TVs, remote working platforms, desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and meeting room video-conferencing equipment and other endpoint user hardware. 
  6. Procure licenses and equipment including laptops and mobile phones for all levels of the business. Arrangement and cancellation of mobile connections, monitor accounts, SIM swaps, PAC code requests and production of reports.
  7. Initiating, planning and supporting the delivery of technology projects, rollouts and initiatives.
  8. Planning for and processing equipment and software requirements for new starters and managing the return of equipment and ceasing access for leavers and maintaining associated documentation

 

 

 

Who are we looking for?

 

To be successful in this role 

 

A proactive and pragmatic attitude

Strong understanding of Windows settings and configuration.

An understanding of Mac operating system

Experienced 1st and 2nd line Technology Helpdesk analyst 

Strong understanding of mobile settings and configuration.

Awareness of Office 365 setup and configuration.

Broad understanding of various packaged applications.

Excellent customer service skills.

Strong awareness of a helpdesk function and how to resolve basic to complex technology issues.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal communication skills and ability to respond to queries in the best manner.

This position is Part time and involves working 21 hours per week on a 3 day per weeks, 3 in 7 basis. Your main base will be our Chapel Street Office with a requirement to travel to site where required
