Research Executive
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Executive with market research experience either agency or client side looking to grow their research experience in a role with real responsibility to inform decisions and learn from experienced colleagues across the commercial operations of an elite PL football club. You will support the research function and work across a variety of research techniques and with leading research agencies. You will be involved in LFC's priority projects providing high impact insight and recommendations from our research to inform business decisions and impact change.
What will you be doing?
- You'll have the opportunity to learn about and influence decisions across multiple elements of LFC's commercial and matchday operations, working directly with colleagues such as LFC Retail, the Anfield and Prenton Park matchday experience teams, LFC's commercial Partners such as Standard Chartered, AXA, Nike, Expedia and Google, LFC's award winning media and content teams, LFC digital teams across the website and apps, LFC Membership and LFC Ticketing strategy to help inform their business decisions
- Own the design, set-up, and delivery of online surveys via the LFC Your Voice fan panel, as well as sharing feedback and updates with supporters; and regular post-match and event survey processes to deliver high-impact insight to drive business decision and change.
- Work with the Research Manager on end-to-end delivery of LFC’s annual Partner Impact study, a key piece of research used to inform discussions with existing and prospective Partners.
- Create and present visually engaging insight using data visualisation techniques to aid understanding, ensuring effective data storytelling.
- Delivering results in documents and face-to-face/online to stakeholders, to provide a take-away of insight with impactful actionable recommendations
- Work with a range of research tools and agencies and further develop your research skillset.
- Support the distribution of third-party research and intelligence, sharing this with business owners to ensure that all are kept informed of trends, including the dissemination of key research from the Premier League.
- Documenting and cataloguing research findings using the LFC SharePoint so that these can be easily referenced and accessed across the Club
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate who has experience within a research environment with experience of applying qualitative & quantitative research techniques and working with online survey tools, and who is highly numerate working with complex data sets to identify patterns and draw actionable conclusions / recommendations. With a desired qualification at a degree level or equivalent.
The successful candidate must have the ability to demonstrate a “can do attitude”, with a strong attention to detail, excellent verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
No two days will be the same in this varied role, so you'll need to be highly organised and agile to meet key priorities, and have the ability to maintain good relationships with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
