About the role
Liverpool Football Club is looking for an experienced Plumber to join our maintenance team at Anfield Stadium. In this role, you’ll carry out servicing, repairs, fault finding, and general maintenance of all plumbing and drainage systems in line with current regulations, ensuring our world-class stadium operates at its best every day.
What will you be doing?
- Carry out maintenance, repairs and fault diagnosis on all plumbing and drainage systems.
- Respond to system and plant breakdowns, identifying and resolving issues quickly.
- Support with new installations and project work when required.
- Manage the maintenance, testing, and chemical dosing of player spa and ice bath systems.
- Conduct weekly water system flushing as part of our Legionella prevention programme (L8).
- Prioritise and manage workload using the CAFM system, considering matchday and event schedules.
- Oversee external contractors to ensure works are completed safely and on time with minimal disruption.
- Undertake statutory and non-statutory planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across the stadium.
- Provide recommendations for lifecycle replacements and system upgrades.
Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a qualified and proactive Plumber who can work confidently in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
- Experience in Water Hygiene and Legionella prevention.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, heating, pool management, and fire sprinkler systems.
- Experience carrying out PPMs and fault diagnostics.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications (not essential):
- IPAF Mobile Platform Operation Licence.
- PASMA Mobile Scaffold Erection Licence.
- Gold CSCS Trade Card.
- Water Regulations Qualification or knowledge.
- Unvented Hot Water (Commercial) Qualification.
- Gas qualification.
- Level 2 Spa Management qualification.
- Knowledge of fire suppression and sprinkler systems.
