Northern Ireland Development Centre - Casual Coach

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Academy department as a Development Centre Coach. In this role you will be responsible for identifying talented young players and delivering 1 to 1 coaching sessions to players from ages 9 upwards.

What will you be doing?

  • Work with the other coaches and scouts to identify talented players within groups
  • Attend other games for scouting purposes, when necessary, as determined by the Regional Manager
  • Design and deliver weekly coaching sessions to talented young players
  • Deliver 1 to 1 coaching sessions with players of interest as assigned by the Regional Manager

Who are we looking for?

To be successful you will hold a UEFA B Licence in coaching and a certificate in safeguarding, including a willingness to undertake a DBS. You’ll have a proven track record working with talented young football players. You will be able to showcase your ability to design and deliver sessions to a group of young players, including your ability to identify talented players.
