Here at Liverpool Football Club, we have exciting opportunities to join our Casual Safety Team for Match Days. We are a multi-award-winning club in respect of our stewarding operation: our stewarding team is amongst the best in the Premier League, and we look to maintain that reputation going forward.
Response Steward: your role will be to provide a dynamic response to any incident inside or outside of the stadium as part of a larger mobile team directed by Supervision/ Safety Officers.
TRAINING IS PROVIDED: A Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety is offered to applicants who do not already have it.
Requirements
- A clear and effective communicator
- An ability to remain calm in challenging circumstances
- An ability to produce clear well written incident reports
- A team player who shows a willingness to go the extra mile to assist supporters.
Applicants who do not already possess Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety will be offered the qualification and MUST engage on the training within their first season to continue to be offered work as a Crowd Steward with LFC.
Main Responsibility
- Manage the safe arrival of the team coaches and support vehicles whilst maintaining spectator safety
- Assist in the search operation for visiting fans
- Manage the safe operation of away fans queueing lanes
- To be trained to a nationally recognised standard for Level 2 of the Stadium Intervention Policy in respect of conflict management and use of force
- To record and refer appropriate information to the stadium Designated Lead for safeguarding for action or consideration
- To record all welfare and safeguarding incidents in your section of the stadium on My Concern
- To assist with relevant procedural reviews and safeguarding audits throughout the season
- To attend any pre-or-post-match briefings and meetings for Safeguarding Stewards.
