LFCW Kit Operations Assistant - Casual

About the role

The LFCW kit & equipment operation covers the kit and laundry functions across the AXA Melwood. The purpose of this role is to contribute to maintaining the highest standard of kit operation for the LFC Women first team and PGA.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in the distribution of players and colleagues kit, ensuring all players and colleagues are suitably provided with sufficient product for all football related activity and compliant with competition regulations. 
  • Using a heat press to support printing on kit & equipment.
  • Maintain elite standards of work, keeping work/storage areas (changing room, boot room, kit rooms laundry room) clean, tidy, and organised including completion of daily checks.
  • Support the stock control management & quality control on kit & equipment. 
  • To support the maintenance of kit & equipment, including the timely completion of laundry and cleaning within the required schedule.
  • To comply with all Club regulations regarding policies, procedures, health, safety etc.
  • Any other necessary duties to ensure the kit department operates at the highest standard.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a kit, equipment, laundry, or operational support role within a professional sporting environment
  • IT skills to include the ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). 
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Displays a high level of discretion and maintains strict confidentiality
  • Attendance at home and away first team matches when required
  • Full driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Strong financial and analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills to present data accurately.
