About the role

Are you looking for an opportunity to work within the Catering and Hospitality industry?

Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are looking for Kitchen Assistants to join our team at Anfield Stadium. Working in our state-of-the-art kitchens alongside our highly experienced and creative chefs, assisting with the preparing and serving of a variety of high-quality menus for over approximately eight thousand covers on match days.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Basic food preparation.
  • Unloading and putting away deliveries.
  • Emptying bins, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly.
  • Deep cleaning fridges and storerooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards.
  • Washing up, ensuring that all items used in the restaurant by our customers are cleaned and made ready for the following match using automated dishwashers.
  • Portering: ensuring each back of house area is cleared of rubbish and left tidy at the end of each match.

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for applicants who have experience working in a fast-faced environment, have awareness of manual handling techniques, and some experience of kitchen equipment. Applicants must possess a Level 2 in Food Hygiene. Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant/ Porter is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
