About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the LFC Foundation as a Insights and Impact Manager. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the Foundation can demonstrate the impact of its work to a wide range of stakeholders including staff, trustees, funders and the communities in which the Foundation operates.
What will you be doing?
- Lead on the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks across programmes and impact areas
- Supporting LFC Foundation Programme Managers and Department Managers to design, develop and evaluate impactful programmes
- Support all aspects of research from concept and design through to analysis and publication of findings
- Use the best available evidence to drive practice and implement recommendations for continuous improvements
- Assist the Insights and Impact Department Manager to lead the development, implementation and continued improvement of the LFC Foundation Evidence Based Practice and Impact Strategy, ensuring effective systems and processes are in place that enable robust outcomes and impact measurement
- Assist the Insights and Impact Department Manager to achieve objectives outlined in the LFC Foundation Business Plan
- Assist the LFC Foundation Insights and Impact Department Manager and others to drive a culture of continuous improvement through identification of appropriate training and development opportunities and the embedding of reflective practice and learning approaches across the Foundation
- Lead ongoing analysis of performance data (qualitative and quantitative) received from internal and external sources to generate insight and inform delivery methods and priority areas
- Chair an internal data and insights working group and implement associated workstreams that support data analysis, insight generation, evaluation and best practice working
- Develop regular reports and share findings across the LFC Foundation and with others such as funders and Trustees to inform policy, practice and funding decisions, as well as to shape external communications and PR. This also includes supporting others to develop reports to showcase key insights
- Responsible for the management and effective use of data capture and reporting systems, including day-to-day liaison with system providers and, where appropriate, system users
- Liaise with other relevant departments in Liverpool Football Club where needed to ensure the development of efficient complementary systems and high standards of analysis
- Effectively support students undertaking placements, research or work experience in the LFC Foundation
- Ensure LFC Foundation quality and safeguarding standards are achieved and maintained at all times
Who are we looking for?
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate experience managing evaluation and research projects and working with key stakeholders including children, young people and adults. You will be passionate and knowledgeable about different approaches and methods to obtain both quantitative and qualitative information from these groups. You will have a minimum of degree qualified or equivalent experience of evaluating data and impact measurements.
You’ll have knowledge and experience of collecting and analysing data, including inputting, and storing information, analysing, and reporting on different audiences. You will be able to showcase your experience of maintaining monitoring systems, databases and auditing to ensure standards, as well as the ability to communicate well to a range of audiences.
You will have excellent analytical skills, with a diligent eye for detail and accuracy, with a high level of computer proficiency, particularly with MS Office packages and monitoring and evaluation systems and databases. You’ll be able to demonstrate good understanding of data management, monitoring, and reporting, as well as the different terminologies used.
You’ll have the project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be a team player with excellent planning and organisational ability. You will also have a willingness to travel across different sites.
