In-House Recruiter – Maternity Leave Cover

About the role

We’re looking for a proactive individual with a proven background recruiting within an in-house environment to join our delivery-focused Talent Acquisition team to cover maternity leave. In this diverse role, you’ll work across different areas of the Club providing effective recruitment support, to attract and hire talent, ensuring an engaging candidate experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a real passion for recruitment and can hit the ground running.

What will you be doing?

  • Partnering and building effective relationships with specific Business Units to fully understand their resourcing requirements and ensure a sustainable pipeline of talent.
  • Managing the end-to-end candidate experience to create a positive and engaging proposition for current and potential future employees.
  • Developing cost effective and effective campaigns and copywriting adverts in line with our Employer Brand
  • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of information related to candidates and requisitions using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Organising and administering selection processes including online testing, telephone and video interviews, and manage assessment centres.
  • Attending and supporting the delivery of open days and careers fairs as and when required.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful, you will have a proven track record within an in-house recruitment environment, with experience of resourcing for a wide range of different roles from volume to experienced hires in a diverse commercial organisation. We’re looking for candidates with excellent knowledge of the recruitment market and experience of using a wide range of attraction channels and technology for sourcing and proactively managing candidate pipelines.

You will have strong IT skills including MS Office Suite and experience of managing Applicant Tracking systems. You will have excellent knowledge of legislation relating to employment and ideally, knowledge of safer recruitment procedures. 

We’re looking for someone who is results driven with good organisation and planning skills, excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build strong working relationships both internally & externally.

You will be an effective team player who is able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business. 

Why should you apply?

This is a full-time temporary maternity cover contract commencing in October 2023 for a minimum of 6 months working 35 hours per week.  The role will be based between our Chapel Street office in Liverpool City Centre and Anfield Stadium.  We also offer the opportunity to work hybrid, depending on business needs.
