About the role

Liverpool FC Foundation is offering an exciting opportunity to work within their Events team in a Senior Coordinator role. Working closely with the Events Department Manager to deliver the annual events plan to support the work of the LFC Foundation.

What will you be doing?

The senior coordinator will support a wide variety of events across the organisation including fundraising, stakeholder, B2B and community engagement activations.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Deliver and implement a sustainable event to achieve income targets and wider Foundation business objectives.
  • Support delivery of the annual events plan, ensuring activations are on time and within budget and in line with the Club commercial activity and partner requirements.
  • Feed into ideation, planning, and event management of key activations across the LFC Foundation calendar including high net worth/major donor acquisition, stakeholder briefings media launches, community events, award ceremonies and corporate networking events.
  • Support the events department manager for the annual schedule of official Legends charity match fixtures and other key events such as gala dinners.
  • Provide event support and best practice for Foundation colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with LFC Foundation’s Marketing team to deliver impactful campaigns to drive effectiveness of events ensuring event activations meet our brand quality standards.
  • Provide written briefs for internal and external services including graphic design, video content and volunteer support.
  • Ensure all events activity is compliant with national/international legislation as required to protect the charity, its beneficiaries and donors, and to minimise risk.
  • Ensure all activity is delivered in accordance with LFC Foundation / LFC policy and procedures including risk and equality impact assessments.
  • Provide reports and statistical data to support reporting and evaluation. 
  • Ensure all our practices our inclusive and accessible to all.
  • Ensure LFC Foundation safeguarding policy and standards are achieved and maintained at all times.   
  • Line management responsibility may be included in this role.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you will have excellent knowledge and understanding of large scale and high-volume event planning and implementation and experience of coordinating suppliers, volunteers’ staff and attendees to ensure a successful event. It is critical you have great Health and Safety knowledge and understanding. 

You will be able to form and maintain excellent strong working relationships. You’ll be expected to have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and strong organisational skills with high levels of competency in Microsoft office. 

It is desirable for you to have good knowledge of UK event regulations and legislation and experience of working internationally would be advantageous.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be our Chapel Street and Anfield Sports and Community centre , but the role holder may be asked to work in any site across the LFC estate.
