Ecommerce UX CRO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a conversion optimisation specialist who is both creative and commercially minded. The ideal candidate will have strong Javascript, HTML and CSS ability and a passion for e-commerce. An interest in fashion and football would be an advantage.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the UX and CRO strategy for LFC Retail E-Commerce platforms including identifying opportunities for growth, working with the wider E-Commerce team to formulate both simple and complex AB/multivariate tests, as well as executing, measuring and iterating the tests to improve user experience and conversion. Additionally, you will support the E-Commerce product team in scoping and testing the development of new features.

What will you be doing?

  • Identifying opportunities to improve conversion and user experience and maintain a roadmap of future enhancements and experiments
  • Using existing front end skills to design complex AB and multivariate tests using industry-leading software and keep these skills sharp
  • Reporting on the success and challenges faced to the Senior Manager, E-Commerce UX
  • Assisting the Product/UX team in scoping and testing new features, and create well-structured tickets for any platform improvements necessary to support the above
  • Creating wireframes and prototypes for new features and UX enhancements to the store in keeping with the brand guidelines
  • Championing a test and learn culture within the wider Retail team
  • Maintain focus on fan experience to ensure the best possible experience for fans around the world
  • Monitoring the market closely to ensure LFC Retail remains at the forefront of digital commerce
  • Analysing results and collate feedback to be presented to the wider team and department management

Who are we looking for?

To be successful you will have ecommerce experience preferably within a sport/lifestyle brand and a genuine interest in all things digital. With a proven track record in a similar UX/CRO based role, you’ll be proficient in UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch, have experience working with testing tools, preferably Dynamic Yield and have a good working knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS. Your experience might also include Trello, Jira, Gitlab or similar tools. You will have a strong analytics background, you will be comfortable creating and interpreting reports including specifically with Google Analytics & BI tools.

Being able to identify with fans and customers worldwide, you will have the ability to design user journeys, maximising conversion potential and have an instinct for good UX/UI and a desire to delight a global fanbase. You will have both a creative and analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills and the ability to work towards and report on KPI’s and targets.  You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week on a 5 from 7-days basis. Your main base will be our Head Office in Liverpool City Centre which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey, although we do offer flexibility if you prefer to work hybrid.
