About the role
We are looking for an individual with extensive sports and entertainment industry knowledge to join our Liverpool FC team as a Director, Ticketing Operations. In this high-profile and challenging role, you will lead on the operational and strategic implementation of Ticketing Policy. You will take the agreed Club strategy and work with key stakeholders to deliver a World class set of ticketing policies and journey.
What will you be doing?
• Help develop the Clubs rolling ticketing strategy.
• Lead a team of colleagues to implement and deliver the Clubs strategy on a day-to-day basis.
• Responsible for the planning, administration, and delivery of all ticket sales, from who we sell to, through advertising and the actual sales process.
• First key decision maker on all ticket activity, escalating to VP as and when needed.
• Take the agreed strategy and continuously look to develop and integrate the policies across the ticketing estate.
• Be the point of contact on all marketing sales, media, press, merch, fan zones – ensuring all contractual requirements are delivered and any opportunities for incremental revenue are maximised.
• Be part of a working group that select and appoint ticketing suppliers in line with policy, to maximise value for money and efficiency.
• Take responsibility for all external stakeholder relationships, to include but not limited to the Premier League, UEFA and all other Clubs.
• Ensure cross-departmental collaboration, shared success and joint action when leading working groups.
• Interface at the most senior level, and influence and facilitate a complex stakeholder group.
• Lead on all Club ticketing communications with supporters
• Maintain a robust policy for all internal allocations and ensure that the team deliver those allocations.
• Take responsibility for all changes of policy including updating the terms and conditions and also feeding into the supporter journey.
• Working with the relevant colleagues to develop and implement a sales strategy for both the Clubs Women’s and U21 teams.
• Working with the T&H systems team develop and maintain a suite of KPI’s / Reports to aid in the decision-making process.
• Manage and develop the Ticket Operations Team
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive football and sport industry ticketing knowledge gained within large scale venues. You will have a strategic background and extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of delivering cost-effective and innovative Club wide projects. With your excellent events and project management skills, you will have a proven track record of managing large scale and high value events. You will have written and verbal communication skills as well as being computer literate and highly proficient in MS Office software, i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Having outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills, you can build and maintain good working relationships at all levels across the Club and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. You’ll have strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to identify and proactively help mitigate potential cross-departmental challenges. You can demonstrate initiative and creativity when solving problems and managing conflict as well as manage confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner.
Being a professional, confident and credible team player, you can work under pressure delivering results to tight deadlines adapting quickly with fast paced and changing priorities. You will have a flexible, "can-do" attitude with the ability to travel.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours flexibly across the week. Your main base will be our City Centre office which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey.
