Digital Marketing Coordinator

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as Digital Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will provide digital marketing support for the LFC Foundation’s Senior Marketing Manager to deliver the Foundation’s annual marketing and communications plan. 

 

What will you be doing? 

 

  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager to develop and implement digital content plans to support the successful delivery of the Foundation’s integrated marketing and communication plan 

 

  • Work with LFC Foundation community and fundraising teams to ensure their digital marketing needs are met within budget to support the successful delivery of their departmental plans and objectives. 

 

  • Manage and maintain the LFC Foundation’s portfolio of social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn) to grow followers and digital reach.  

 

  • Manage and maintain the LFC Foundation’s official charity website to ensure the content is engaging, accessible, timely and in-line with brand and partner requirements. 

 

  • Brief and coordinate the production of digital content to support Foundation campaign activity including email, video, photography and motion graphics to deliver highly engaging, on brand portfolio of assets that can be amplified and re-purposed across Foundation, Club and third party channels. 

 

  • Work with the Club’s marketing and digital media teams to maximise amplification through Club channels, ensuring content suitability and scheduling requirements are met. 

 

  • Provide social media guidance and support for the LFC Foundation’s approved contributors to ensure their content is engaging, on-message and reflects the charity’s tone of voice. 

 

  • Responsible for managing and authorising expenditure to ensure costs are within LFC Foundation’s digital marketing budget. 

 

  • Provide reports and statistical data to support reporting and evaluation and to drive business growth. 

 

  • Adhere to all LFC Foundation, school, and other partners Safeguarding Procedures. 

 

Who are we looking for? 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have strong knowledge and understanding of digital marketing, platforms and techniques with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in marketing/ communications. You will have proven track record of experience in a similar role working in a digital marketing and social media environment. In addition to this, you will have sound understanding digital marketing/advertising codes of practice and new GDPR data requirements, as well as digital content production and processes. 

 

The right candidate will be confident in using MS Office, CMS, social media and other digital marketing software and platforms with excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills with keen eye for detail. You will be able to work well within a team environment and have good project management skills with experience running multi-channel and multi-stakeholder campaignsYou will also be able to financially plan and management experience.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be our Anfield Sports Community Centre.
