About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Senior Specialist, UX Optimisation

 

What will you be doing?

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

 

  • You will identify opportunities to improve conversion and user experience and maintain a roadmap of future enhancements and experiments
  • You will use existing front end skills to design complex AB/multivariate tests using industry-leading software and keep these skills sharp
  • You will report on the success and challenges faced to the Senior Manager, E-Commerce UX as well as wider teams
  • You will assist the Product/UX team in scoping and testing new features, create well-structured tickets support on testing
  • You will create wireframes and prototypes for new features, UX enhancements and landing pages in keeping with brand guidelines
  • You will champion a test and learn culture within the wider Retail team
  • You will monitor the market closely to LFC Retail remains at the forefront of digital commerce

 

 

 

Who are we looking for?

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Experience in similar UX/CRO based role
  • E-commerce experience, preferably within a sport/lifestyle brand and an interest in all things digital
  • Ability to create front end components using HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript
  • Ability to identify with fans and customers worldwide
  • Ability to design user journeys, maximising conversion potential
  • A willingness to learn and problem solve independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Both a creative and analytical mindset
  • A willingness to adapt and flex to help other team members
  • Experience with Trello, Jira, Gitlab or similar tools
  • An instinct for good UX/UI
  • Attention to detail and a good level of written English
  • Experience working towards and reporting on KPIs and targets
  • Confident creating tickets for third party development agencies with robust acceptance criteria
  • Comfortable creating and interpreting reports using tools such as Google Analytic, GA4, digital analytics tools and similar
  • Proficiency in UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch
  • Experience working with testing tools, preferably Dynamic Yield

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be our Chapel Street Office which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey.
