Casual Safeguarding Stewards

About the role

Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are looking for Casual Safeguarding Stewards to join our safety team on match days and events. Acting as a point of contact for safeguarding incidents or concerns within the stadium.

This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and references.

 

What will you be doing?

  • To record and refer appropriate information to the stadium DSL for action or consideration.
  • To disseminate relevant information to your area of the matchday stewarding provision.
  • To observe practice of colleagues when engaging with children, young people, and vulnerable groups and recording this appropriately.
  • To assist with relevant procedural reviews and Safeguarding audits throughout the season.
  • Commit to continued professional development to ensure knowledge is live and current.
  • To communicate all issues and concerns to the Designated Lead for Safeguarding.

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has a personal commitment to safeguarding and protecting children and vulnerable persons. You will be passionate about delivering a safe event and ensuring spectators are safe, have good observational skills, and good IT skills in respect of on-line reporting of incidents and writing reports.

This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and references.
