About the role
What will you be doing?
- Help provide a safe and secure environment on match days
- Support and guide spectators, ensuring they feel welcome and informed
- Enforce stadium regulations and promote fan safety
- Respond to incidents calmly and professionally
- Conduct security checks, including personal searches
- Record and report incidents clearly and accurately
- Work closely with your team to manage large crowds effectively
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for people who are:
- Confident communicators who can engage with the public
- Able to stay calm under pressure and handle challenging situations
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable managing conflict appropriately
- Able to write clear and accurate reports
- Aged 18 or over (required for this role)
About the Recruitment Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a group induction & interview, which includes:
- An introduction to the role from our Safety Team
- Key responsibilities and expectations
- A 1:1 interview to assess your suitability

Training Requirement
This role requires you to complete a Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety (as required by the Sports Grounds Safety Authority).
- This must be completed within 12 months of your first induction training
- By applying, you confirm your commitment to completing this qualification
Please note we may not be able to progress your application if this qualification is not completed within the required timeframe.
This is a casual position, offering variable hours including evenings and weekends on a flexible assignment basis.
