About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Academy Performance Education department as a Casual Academy Analyst. Our mission is to create engaging content to inspire, challenge and support our players and staff through their journey. This role is a crucial component of the provision to aid our capture and analysis of performance.
This role will support the Academy primarily through the filming and coding of games and training. Weekly hours will vary depending upon the academy schedule and will be split across weekends, weekdays, and across a wide variety of age groups, both home and away. Training will be provided to the successful candidates to provide them the necessary skill set to support the programme.
What will you be doing?

Filming of games and training using automatic & manual equipment.

Coding of games and training using bespoke code windows & Hudl SportsCode.

Supporting the coach development feedback programme.

Any other ad-hoc requests required by the performance education department.

Weekend work will be required as part of the role.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful you will have knowledge of the technical and tactical aspects of football and a strong interest in the field of sports performance analysis. You’ll have excellent communication skills, have a keen attention to detail and be a supportive team player.
Ideally you will have experience of filming and coding games or training in a sporting academy. You will also, ideally, hold FA Coaching qualifications and have either completed or be currently undertaking a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate university degree.
