Assistant, Stock Control, Distribution Centre
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as our Assistant, Stock Control, Distribution Centre. A role which will be responsible to provide efficient and effective stock control support to all DC functions.
What will you be doing?
Key Accountabilities
- Carrying out all stock control tasks related to Retail Store deliveries.
- Undertaking all stock control tasks related to customer/ecommerce orders.
- Maintain the LFC DC’s stocked product inventory locations
- Undertaking perpetual inventory stock counting and accuracy checks using LFC systems.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and report findings to the Supervisor or Manager, Stock Control & Administration
- Supporting with stock takes for ecommerce and stores.
- Support the Operational Administration team with required cover including annual leave
- Any other stock control tasks to support the Distribution Centre and wider Merchandising teams.
Who are we looking for?
As our candidate you will display the following skills, experience and knowledge:
Essential Knowledge
- Substantial knowledge of stock control tasks and duties
- Substantial knowledge of administration relating to stock control and warehousing
- Understanding of business key trading periods
- Excellent understanding of stock management processes, including stock takes
- Analytical and troubleshooting approach to stock investigations
Essential Functional / Technical Skills
- Support with training requirements on systems and processes of new staff across all stock control tasks.
- WMS experience and knowledge
