Assistant, Partnership Operations
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Liverpool FC team as an Assistant, Partnership Operations. We are looking for recent graduates to support the development and delivery of our world-class partnerships. In this role you will provide significant support across the day-to-day management of the entire partnership process, from supporting the development of new partnerships, to delivery of rights for existing partners.
this role is 12 month fixed term opportunity
You’ll work closely with the LFC Partnerships Sales, Central and Delivery Teams to provide administrative support across key business areas, including event management, matchday ticketing, commercial player appearances and sponsorship sales.
What will you be doing?
Provide logistical support for the Partnerships Team.
Provide administrative and logistical support on non-matchday partnership events. This may include signing sessions, talent appearances and prospect experiences.
Provide administrative and logistical support across ticketing for contracted partners.
Support the match day Operations Team when required for both men’s and women’s games, helping to deliver contracted partner requirements.
Quality-check all sales materials.
Proactively manage all gifting stock, replenishing when necessary, and be the point of contact for the Partnership Sales team when gifting prospective partners.
Source external suppliers and liaise with them to develop gifting, fulfil orders, and process payments whilst adhering to budget and Club policies.
Upload important data to our Partnership Team’s CRM system and support Sales and Delivery teams with management of the system.
Administrative support of the Partnerships and Digital Media teams, assisting with the processing of commercial contracts.
Be a positive, collaborative, and effective member of the Partnerships Team and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will have an understanding of commercial sports marketing, the sponsorship landscape and its position in the broader media and entertainment industry. You will be computer literate with a good understanding of MS Office packages, including being confident working with numbers. You must be proficient in the use of excel with the ability to write and understand basic formulae to manage and interpret large volumes of data. You’ll be consistently organised, timely and detail-oriented in carrying out your day-to-day tasks.
You will have a high attention to detail, including being effective at problem solving and have the initiative to come up with solutions to challenges. You’ll be process-driven while at the same time, enjoying the opportunity to be creative. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to write clearly and competently, being an excellent communicator. You’ll be able to showcase your ability to deal with pressure in difficult situations, including being a team player.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a “can-do attitude” who will relish the opportunity to get stuck in and become an integral part of the Partnerships team. You will be a good fit for this role if you share our Club values of ambition, commitment, dignity, and unity and understand Club activities ‘off pitch’.

This is a full-time temporary role working 35 hours per week. Due to the nature of this role, you will occasionally be required to work weekends. Your main base will be our Liverpool Head Office which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. You may be required to travel, sometimes at short notice depending on business demands.
