About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as an Assistant Commercial Content Producer on a fixed term contract.
You will be responsible for supporting with the production of high-performing branded content for the Club’s key commercial partners. This role works across content projects from end to end, providing production assistance across planning, ideation, running, consulting whilst also supporting with edit & revision phases.
You will regularly support on shoots with the club’s world-class playing squad and liaise with commercial partners to produce industry-leading branded content that supports the club’s key business objectives.
What will you be doing?
Content Creation and Management:
- Collaborate with the Snr Commercial Content Manager & commercial content producers to support video content for internal departments and partners.
- Support with ideation, planning & project management for commercial partners.
- Answer partner briefs by supporting with the creating of concepts, pitch decks & storyboards
- Support Production of best-in-class branded content that aligns with the style, tone, and values of the club, offering fans a rewarding experience.
- Incorporate commercial objectives into content, focusing on brand awareness and conversion.
Production Quality:
- Support with production of best-in-class branded content that aligns with the style, tone, and values of the club, offering fans a rewarding experience.
- Maintain awareness of commercial objectives and use appropriate mechanics to incorporate content goals, such as brand awareness, brand consideration, and calls to action.
Project Management:
- Work to tight deadlines to create content for social media, OTT platforms, TV, etc.
- Negotiate with third party vendors to effectively delivery productions within budget
- Support content production for key cross-club initiatives to drive business objectives on an ad-hoc basis throughout the season (e.g., The Red Way).
Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a creative and versatile professional with proven experience in commercial or corporate video content creation, particularly involving high-profile talent. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to develop original concepts, work effectively under pressure within tight production timelines, and demonstrate familiarity with alternative content acquisition methods such as drones, 360 cameras, and user-generated content. A deep understanding of the social media landscape, including platform-specific best practices for content optimization, is essential. Extensive knowledge of Liverpool FC and its partners is highly desirable. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
From a technical perspective, candidates should be proficient in Adobe Premiere, have basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects, and understand digital platforms, social media, and video production styles. Familiarity with generative AI tools, basic camera operation, and a flexible, solutions-oriented approach will be key to success in this role.
