About the role
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with excellent knowledge of JIRA to join our digital department as an Agile Delivery Manager. In this varied role, you will be responsible for driving forward the progress of the product team and product development delivery, removing any impediments or blockers and managing dependencies external to the team.
What will you be doing?

Oversee & QA external development and understand its potential impact on LFC digital estate.

Run and own JIRA, Trello, Gitlab for immediate teams.

Lead the understanding of the impact of external product & technical proposals and changes on LFC digital estate for immediate teams and projects.

Assess the risk & opportunity and articulate to the business & external partners on the approach and way forward

Lead the understanding of feature development & write / review technical proposals & ensure development tickets / tasks are in place to support feature development to enable time and budget estimates for product development

Develop a clear understanding of requirements & capacity to plan for internal & external (within budgets) development

Communicate and inform planning & setting of workloads vs. capacity to ensure business outcome

Detailed tracking of development time (estimate vs actuals) & in the case of external development confirming invoicing and payment up to budgets (£5k-£500k)

Manage multi workstreams across different dev teams, business stakeholders, products & in tooling systems to ensure standards

Manage your team & individuals to be high performing by using performance management ensuring the team works to agile methodologies and practices

Manage & ensure clear visibility of all digital product work tasks across the business

Lead continuous improvement development by ensuring business based NFR’s (key digital application KPI’s) are hit to increase revenues & business performance

Lead Agile process development, organizing and facilitating Agile ways of working including the daily stand-up

Manage the execution of development budgets to ensure delivery on time, cost & to required ROI

Establishing an environment where the team can be effective, develop processes to ensure common ways of working across all products, lead daily stand ups, planning and retro meetings
Who are we looking for?
To be successful, you will have a proven background in Delivery Management and be able to demonstrate expertise in lean product management, including experience in risk and dependency management. You will have strong JIRA and problem-solving skills and will be able to highlight your experience in Agile values, Lean and continuous delivery.
You’ll have delivery scrum management experience and will have worked directly with development, QA and UX teams previously. Having a people centric approach with a passion for helping people and teams grow, you will have effective communication, facilitation and coaching skills as well as stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
