Administrator - Trade sales

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as an Administrator – Trade sales. You will report to the Director of International Business development and work to collaboratively drive continued sales growth within the Trade and International retail department. You will complete structured and ad-hoc administration tasks to ensure all channels perform to the optimum level for the customer. As well as this, you will work closely with the wider internal and merchandising teams to deliver good customer service.   

 

What will you be doing? 

 

Overview 

  • Assisting in the achievement of department objectives and KPIs  

  • Responsible for ensuring customer product requests are processed from order through to invoice.  

  • Responsible for completing all necessary export documentation to support a smooth delivery process.  

  • Responsible for growing the sales for existing accounts as well as developing new business to ensure we meet the sales plan.  

  • Ensure good customer service through building strong working relationships across internal departments and customer accounts.  

 

Accounts and finance   

  • Complete invoices ensuring customers  

  • Proactively manage bad debt to minimise risk to the P and L  

  • Complete end of month account reconciliation   

 

Ecommerce (B2B)  

  • Set up new customers  

  • Ensure Trade catalogue is regularly updated   

  • Monitoring sales and taking action to promote   

  • Forward planning of a robust trading and promotional calendar   

 

Supply chain   

  • Use of DC warehouse systems where required for completion of tasks  

  • Liaising with supply chain on product availability and due dates   

 

Who are we looking for? 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent administration and interpersonal skills whilst being a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will have a methodical approach to work, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality and strong problem-solving skills. It is important you can work under pressure to tight project deadlines/ targets and can adapt to differing demands, prioritising tasks, where appropriate. This role involves building strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally, therefore, strong communication is a must.  

 

The right candidate will have a good understanding of UK and International Tax and duty requirements and good computer literacy skills, using Microsoft office programmes and other software. It is desirable, if you have experience in CIMS and/or another stock management database and trading within an online portal (B2B or B2C).

This is a Fixed-Term Contract covering maternity ending 10 Months from the agreed start date - with the view to extended, depending on the business needs.  

 

Your main base will be Distribution Centre, Whiston.
